Life
Not much in the way of having a life this week, but did manage to work out some. Packed up my life and left Medellin, again, and spending the weekend flying to Tokyo.
Work
Android team, including new engineer (!) was all in one place, so I spent it with them. They are so great, and working super hard, but it’s really great to see the strategic stuff I’ve been working on since December start to pay off, but I still have a lot to do. Nervous to be so far away, but trying to see how people get by without me as a helpful test of where we are at.
Working on my talk for Tokyo.
Places
Discovered another of the sushi restaurant I like, and ended up eating there three times. Also went to an Italian restaurant, which was nice, other than that took the engineers to some of my usual haunts.
In Toronto Airport, staying at the ALT Hotel.
Media
Catching up with Keeping Up With The Kardashians, reading The Restaurant Critic’s Wife which I’m really enjoying – humans are messy, life is hard, and for women it is easy to lose your identity trying to keep everyone else happy.
