Life
Had fun in Guatape – went to Pablo Escobar’s finca, which was bombed out. Eerily beautiful. Rode a jetski and got stranded. Also exploring Medellin because a friend was visiting – we went to El Castillo and Parque Arvi. Then flew to SF where I’ve been catching up with friends.

This site has had a visual refresh – needs a bit more work, but I’m excited about it. Preparing and practising for workshop next week.

What did you think of _The Year Without Pants_? I thought it was one of the better books I’ve read. I work for a distributed company so I’ve found myself saying “here’s how Automattic does $thing” a lot, especially in my efforts to encourage an internal blog.
[WORDPRESS HASHCASH] The poster sent us ‘0 which is not a hashcash value.
I found it super bro-ey, tbh, but definitely insightful about how Automattic worked then. I think the main thing I took away from it was the asynchronicity.
